Today, I’m going to share some swatches of OPI Iceland Collection 2017. Let’s get it started!
The entire Iceland Collection has 12 shades in total. I’ll be swatching my favourite 6 out of the 12 today 🙂
The first polish is called I’ll Have a Gin & Tectonic, which is a peachy nude colour. This creme polish is very easy to apply and opaque enough to cover the natural nail colour in two coats.
This is One Heckla of a Colour!, which is a pinkish lavender colour. The formula is so smooth and easy to apply. It covered my natural nail colour in two coats.
The third one is called Aurora Berry-alis. In my photos, the colour is showing up in bright pink, but it’s a much calmer pale fuchsia in person.
The next one is called Reykjavik Has All the Hot Spots. I had no idea what Reykjavik was, but I found out that it is the capital and largest city in Iceland – hmm, I learned something useful from a nail polish! 🙂
Unlike the first three polishes, this one has a fine pearly shimmer. It is very easy to apply and it doesn’t create too many shimmer streaks.
This one is called Less is Norse, which is a pale navy blue creme polish. This super opaque polish is very easy to apply, like all the polishes above.
The last one is called Check Out the Old Geysirs. This has a pale blue base and a subtle colour shifting blue shimmer, which becomes more visible in direct light. The formula is a little bit on the thick side, compared to the rest of the polishes, but it doesn’t get too thick on the nails and it dries very quickly. Two thin coats covered my natural nail colour.
Overall, I was very happy with all 6 polishes. The colours are beautiful and I was very impressed how fast they dry!
I hope you enjoyed my swatches. Thank you for your visit <3
