Ahhh..! I promised to figure out my schedule and try to post more often, but I caught a really bad cold and things didn’t turn out as I hoped, like AT ALL! Oh well! Past is past. I’m just so happy that I can finally publish this Nyan Cat nail art which was created in early July!!
I know that Nyan Cat was popular sometime in 2011, but I still LOVE this super cute pop-tart bodied kitty!! And of course, the crazy but addictive song too 😀
The photo above is the shiny version with a regular top coat.
This is the matte version. On my index finger, I wrote “Nyan Cat” in Japanese lol.
I painted a smaller Nyan Cat on my thumb, which I turned into a nail animation later and it failed big time! The details about the nail animation is in the video below 🙂

The navy blue polish I used as the background is my DIY nail polish. I mixed blue, white and a little bit of black to create this shade. I’m very happy with how it turned out!
