3D Cookie Monster Nail Art

Acrylic nail art was the biggest element that drove me into the world of nail art! And I’m very happy to share what I LOVE most about nails with you today!!

Acrylic nail products are usually used for nail extensions, because they’re easy to shape and durable. Using such awesome characteristics, you can create unique 3D charms like in the photo above!

I used a regular top coat to attach these charms, so that I can remove them using nail polish remover. If you want more durability, you can use nail glue instead.

On this blue star background, I was initially going to wear Cookie Monster charms. But I realised Elmo will stand out better 🙂

So, I decided to wear Cookie Monster on the red star background.

I was trying to figure out what is the best way to put the choc chip cookie into his mouth, and finally I came up with an idea!!

For this design, I was super happy to include one of these AWESOME nail stencils, kindly sent by sweet Lena from Whats Up Nails!! I used their Stars Stickers & Stencils to create the star backgrounds.

The nail polishes I used are Freya’s Cats and O’hara, both from Picture Polish!

I really like how they turned out! Especially having the little star background on both hands is pretty special!! Thanks to Whats Up Nails 🙂

They look amazing! I really want to try making my own 3D things but I think I would never leave my nail station, haha. I Love that you have Elmo and Cookie Monster and they do look great with the alternating stars 😀 It all looks perfect together, I am SURE you are going to have people asking you where you got the 3D elements from! 😉 Btw it is also really perfect for those celebrating 4th July!

I couldn’t help ooohhh-ed and ahhhhh-ed as you made 3D Cookie Monster!! Those smiley face and little arms & legs are so adorb! Awww XD I bet it takes quite a lot of creativity and practice to make those acrylic charms, but you make it look SO easy! 😀
