Happy Holidays everyone!! I’m so sorry for not being able to post anything for such a long time! I have completely underestimated how hard an interstate move could be. Good thing that it’s all over now and I’m happily settled into my new home 🙂
As you may have guessed, my nails got chopped off during the move, boohoo. That’s why they’re all different lengths right now, but I hope the hot weather here in Australia will speed up my nail growth! Fingers crossed! 🙂
Anyways here is my recent nail art design – gold snowflakes on matte pink and white nails!
The dusty pink nail polish that I used on my thumb, index and ring is one of my frankens, and to be honest with you I am pretty proud of how nicely this shade turned out! This shade is called Pink Leotard.
The white polish I used for my middle and pinky is also one of my frankens. The base colour of this polish is slightly ivory, and it has white sparkly shimmers and small gold hex glitters. This one is called Alpaca 🙂
The snowflakes are hand painted with gold acrylic paint. I also added some round aurora holos to add some twinkles.
And to complete this look I used G’day Matte – matte top coat from piCture pOlish 🙂 I like this matte top coat because it doesn’t create the weird white dots on the nails like some of the other brands do.

It’s true hot Aussie weather at the moment makes your nails grow faster. I constantly have to trim mine down 😀 Your snowflake mani is sooo perfectly symmetric! Simply yet so pretty, love your frankens too! I got Liquitex acrylic paints while in Japan as you recommended, and I’m super happy with how they work. Now I need gold acrylic after seeing this mani 😀

Yep, this hot and humid weather is definitely helping my nails to grow, but at the same time it’s keeping me busy to clean up the cuticle areas so often lol.
You’re super kind to say that about this design!! The gold acrylic paint I used is from Chromacryl, the same company as Jo Sonja’s but price is about a half!
