Chevron Negative Space Nautical NailsSorry for the crazy long title, lol. Yep, that’s what I have for you today! Chevron negative space nautical nails with a little bit of stamping. This is one of the designs I did last month, oops!

Nautical Nail Art DesignFor this design I used a very sheer white polish as the base – Don’t Touch My Tutu! from OPI, and then added chevron lines, white gradients and stamping designs with white nail polish – Bright White from piCture pOlish.

MoYou London Plate Cookbook 12The stamping plate I used is MoYou London Cook Book Plate #12. I usually make DIY decals with stamping tools because I’ve never been confident enough to stamp directly onto the nails. But! This time I pushed my limit and tried the direct stamping technique!

Bundle Monster Nail VinylsA few weeks ago, the super sweet Bundle Monster girls kindly sent me a load of nail art decals and vinyls, yaay!! I used a square vinyl to create the chevron design (which is one of the 7 piece Creative Shapes Set). It has the perfect amount of stickiness, which meant I didn’t need to stick it to my skin before placing onto the nails. And it also peels off easily and the line comes out nice and clean!

Chevron Negative Space NailsAs I mentioned above, it was my first attempt to stamp directly onto the nails. The patterns were stretched a little bit (lol), but I didn’t mind them at all. I wanted to keep the design relatively simple, so I used only a few gold charms and some clear Swarovski rhinestones.

Thank you for visiting!!
