How was your Easter holiday? Did you do something special? For me, the whole holiday was taken over by loads of chocolates! Starting with chocolate hot cross buns in the morning, followed by some large Easter eggs, chocolate bunnies and chicks, plus a big mug of hot chocolate, which are the most ideal things to enjoy during holidays!
Also, it was pretty special to wear these Easter ballerina nails too! I have three ballerina chicks with colourful tutus and bunny ears, along with a bunny prima ballerina in the middle.
Can you tell what’s going on with my thumbnail? There are three chicks in the tutus side by side, but the middle one is fixing her pointe shoes facing her bun towards us. Pretty cheeky, huh?
The bright white from piCture pOlish is my current favourite base polish for hand painted designs. I applied three coats of this to create a nice solid background, and then sponged on some pastel colours (pink, yellow, blue and mint) around the edges. The rest is all hand painted with acrylic paint.
It’s sad that the Easter period is finished, but there is one last fun activity left for Easter! Which is…
Easter Nail Art Contest 2015!! I just can’t wait to send all the beautiful entries to my trusted judges, and see what they think!! I’ll announce the winner on here, Instagram and Facebook. So make sure to check back regularly or follow us on either or both social media – Instagram @MiniNailBlog, Facebook @Nailbees.

OH.MY.GOD.WOMAN!!!!
These are to die for cute!! I can’t even comment properly – I’m in awe! You’ve got some truly amazing freehand painting skills going – wow!
Absolutely love these!
Holy smokes!! What an unbelievably wonderful comment you gave me!! 😀 I’m sooo happy that you liked it that much XD THANK YOU SO MUCH Mina!!! <3 xxx
where i can find its tutorial? they are soooo cute… can’t wait to try these on my nails 😉
Thank you very much! Sorry, I didn’t to make a pictorial for this one 🙁 I wrote a short step by step in the post, I hope it helps!
Miss Minnie! You have completely amazed me, your freehand skills are incredible, when I first saw these pictures I could have mistook them for decals or stickers… Just because – no one can freehand that good! But you did 🙂 And I love the little back story of the chick’s wardrobe malfunction – brilliant sense of humor 🙂 xx
OMG!! Thank you ever so much for your amazing comment!! It’s so sweet of you to say these look like decals, aww I love you so much!!!!! Hahaha :D, I’m really glad you think the chick is funny XD THANK YOU ITHI!!! <3 xxox
As with all your manis, this one is unbelievably detailed!! I don’t know how you can bring yourself to remove this, because I know I would never! And I know I would take millions of photos before I ever have to remove it too, haha 😀 My Easter treat was a box of ferrero rocher. I love that chocolate! And the good thing is that you can use that empty box to store recangle stamping plates! LOLOL
Aww!! Thank you sooo very much Cassis!! The bunny and chicks are super happy for your visit 😀 Hehe, they convinced me to keep them all through the Easter holiday XD
Oooh!! I LOVE Ferrero Rocher too! OMG, they’re so yummy and I just can’t stop eating once I started XD And I can’t believe you keep the box too?!!! Hahahaha!!! It’s a perfect size and is made quite well, isn’t it? I store my cottons (pads, balls, squares and buds), but storing stamping plates sounds like a great idea! I’m using a plastic bag for my plates atm :p
Thank you so much again for your sweetest comments!!! *hugs & kisses*
