Dry Flower Manicure

Believe it or not, it’s summer here in Australia. And it’s 42 degrees (Celsius, 107.6 F) outside right now. When I stuck my head out the window earlier, the moisture within my face instantly evaporated and made me feel like a zombi. Anyway, these are my recent design – dry flower manicure!

I used some real dried flowers for this design. Because they are not the thin stickers, I had to embed them in clear acrylic mixture. I created the french lines with small blue glitters and I really like how they turned out. My pedicure is a mermaid scale look with the same glitter at the moment, so it’s nicely matched!

At least these nails can keep my mind refreshed in this crazy hot weather 🙂

Oh you lucky one, here in Finland we have -5 degrees Celsius and its freezing 🙂 You have a nice blog, your nail art is sooo nice!

Hi again, I think this is daytime for you when it’s 10 pm here in opposite side of our Earth (amazing to even think the distance, isn’t it?)
I’m in love with different polishes and nail art, few years I had artificial nails (gel) but nowadays enjoying my natural nails.
And yes, we have green and fresh nature here, and lots of snow now 🙂 Maybe one day I can come and visit in your country, that is one of my dreams 🙂

Yeah! It’s amazing that people on the other side of earth are experiencing totally opposite things(^o^)

When you come to Australia, you’ll definitely need sunglasses, hat and sunscreen(^-^) There are many cute animals as well! I love animals especially the colourful birds here.

P.S. 42 degrees? Yay! We have only -2 degrees Celsius in Poland now (because is winter)! Brrrr… Lucky you 😉

Unfortunately, it doesn`t 🙁 We had a looot of snow in Poland, but it melt 🙁 I`m from north Poland (near Baltic Sea), so here is warmer on winter and colder on summer than in south of my country (where are mountains). I`m sure that in south is still snowy ;D
P.S. By the way, I always sign my comments “Joanna (Asia)”, but I prefer “Asia” than “Joanna”. Asia is shorter version of Joanna in Poland ;] I it`s a continent in English too, but if you may call me Asia, I would be very happy (Joanna is too major for me) 😉

Yes, I can swim generally , but I haven`t swum for years (I was drowning once and now I`m avoiding deep water) ;] I never was on boat trip, but maybe one day… 😉

Thank you very much for asking a question!!
For that pedicure, I used TINS alluring aquamarine 401 nail polish (or a close colour is Zoya nail polish Kotori from Downtown Fall 07) and cover the entire nail with small blue holograms.
