Valentine's Day Nail Art Idea 2011

What coming up next Monday is Valentine’s Day!! Another great opportunity to eat lots of chocolates!! To enjoy such a sweet occasion, here is my Valentine’s Day nail art idea 2011!!

For this design, I used pink and blue shimmery nail polish as the base. I hand painted the chocolate drizzles with brown acrylic paint which I mixed in some gold paint to make it shimmer a little bit! And then I added acrylic decorations – whipped cream, strawberries, chocolates, cookies and teddybears!

To make the star shape, I used a star shaped hole punch for papers that I found in a stationery store.

When I put the middle fingernails together, the teddies are giving their love to each other!!

This is so personal, but I made my cake for the first time!! I know it looks pretty awful, but it’s a chocolate mud cake and tasted really good and I might make it again for Valentine’s day!!
